A Note for A Friend : Keep Your Faith...

I have never heard the audible voice of God; but that doesn't mean that he never spoke to me.

A friend used to ask, Why God doesn't speak to him and guide him to his direction. Now at the downiest moment of his life, he needs God guidance the most. He said maybe, because God wants us to resolve our issues and problem on our own and learn from it.

True. More often, we tend to ask God's help whenever we are in need, whenever we are in pain, whenever we are down or when we feel that the whole world shattered upon us.

I've kneeled down at Quiapo Church so many times and sacrificed physical pain in exchange of a free light spirit.

I've recited the Holy Rosary at St Jude...

I've visited our Lady of Manaoag...

I've cried numerous times at UST and talked to God for a lot of times in Baclaran. All those moments, I used to ask for answers... I asked for signs... I asked for reasons and most of all, I asked for forgiveness for all the things I've done not according to his will.

In his own miraculous ways, I've been touched and healed by his love. For a moment, I stopped and realized how blessed I am.

What am I saying? God doesn't have to speak to me for me to believe that he's just out there... watching me from afar. What I believe now is different from the faith I had in high school, even than I had when I finished college, probably even from what I understood at the time I felt I lost everything and I have no one to blame but myself. The faith I had is so much different back then.

Now, I draw closer to God, and as I make mistakes along the way.. I knew that God would understand and is not going to strike me with lightning. I knew he's there to make me strong and to make me a better person.

They say that Christ will judge the good and the bad. Everyone will get what he deserved. Those who have followed him will no more be sad. I'm sure God wants to talk to you, but you must be in a place where you can hear and you must take time to listen.

Keep the Faith.. After all these trials... There's a whole new better world for you to see. You just need to open your eyes and believe that God knows whats best for you...
